1. Platform role
SecurityMatch is a marketplace that helps customers describe private-security needs and connect with participating security providers. Unless SecurityMatch expressly states otherwise for a specific service, SecurityMatch is not the security company performing the assignment, does not employ the guards supplied by participating providers, and is not a party to the separate service agreement between a customer and provider.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, safeguard your account credentials, and use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. SecurityMatch may suspend or restrict accounts that present fraud, safety, compliance, payment, or misuse concerns.
3. Customer requests
Customers are responsible for accurately describing the location, dates, staffing level, armed or unarmed requirements, special risks, and other material facts of an assignment. A request does not guarantee that a provider will be available, respond, quote, or accept the assignment.
4. Provider independence and compliance
Security providers are independent businesses. Each provider is solely responsible for maintaining every license, permit, registration, insurance policy, workers’ compensation requirement, guard credential, employment practice, tax obligation, and other legal requirement applicable to the services it offers and the personnel it deploys.
5. Matching and sponsored placement
SecurityMatch may use location, service fit, availability, verification information, responsiveness, ratings, and other marketplace signals to organize provider matches. Paid or sponsored placement may affect where a provider is displayed, but sponsored placement is identified separately from organic matching signals and does not replace licensing or verification requirements.
6. Quotes and service contracts
Provider quotes are supplied by the provider. Pricing, minimum hours, cancellation terms, staffing, equipment, supervision, and scope should be confirmed before service begins. The customer and provider are responsible for their own service contract, payment obligations, performance, and disputes arising from the underlying security assignment.
7. Fees and subscriptions
Some provider features are offered through recurring paid plans. Current prices and plan features are shown before purchase. Recurring subscriptions continue until canceled in accordance with the Billing Policy. SecurityMatch may change future pricing or plan features with notice where required.
8. Verification indicators
A verification badge or status means SecurityMatch reviewed information or documentation under the then-current Verification Policy. It is not a guarantee of future compliance, performance, safety, solvency, availability, or fitness for a particular assignment.
9. Prohibited conduct
You may not use SecurityMatch to commit fraud, evade licensing requirements, misrepresent credentials, interfere with the Platform, scrape or resell marketplace data without authorization, submit unlawful requests, harass users, or use the Platform in a way that creates unreasonable safety or security risks.
10. Platform availability and disclaimers
SecurityMatch is provided on an “as available” basis. Matching, geolocation, provider information, quote delivery, email notifications, payment processing, and third-party services may occasionally be delayed or unavailable. SecurityMatch does not guarantee any specific provider, price, response time, assignment outcome, or uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SecurityMatch is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent customers or providers, including onsite security performance, employment matters, injuries, property loss, contractual disputes, regulatory violations, or payment disputes between customer and provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes
SecurityMatch may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be presented through the Platform or another reasonable notice method. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
