1. Provider eligibility
By creating a provider profile, you represent that you are authorized to act for the security business identified in the profile and that the business may lawfully offer the selected services in each territory where it accepts assignments.
2. Licensing and personnel
You are solely responsible for maintaining all company licenses, branch or local permits, qualifying-manager requirements, guard registrations, firearm permits, training records, background requirements, and other credentials required by applicable law. You must not accept an assignment that exceeds your legal authority or the credentials of deployed personnel.
3. Insurance, workers’ compensation and employment
You are responsible for maintaining legally required insurance and workers’ compensation coverage and for complying with wage-and-hour, payroll, tax, employee-classification, scheduling, meal/rest, overtime, uniform, training, and workplace-safety requirements applicable to your workforce.
4. Profile accuracy
Company information, license numbers, coverage areas, service offerings, verification submissions, availability, ratings-related information, and other profile data must be accurate and kept current. You must promptly update information that becomes expired, suspended, misleading, or no longer applicable.
5. Leads and quotes
Marketplace leads are opportunities, not guaranteed contracts. Quote only assignments you are prepared and legally authorized to staff. Quotes should accurately disclose rates, minimum hours, additional charges, exclusions, cancellation terms, and material assumptions.
6. Customer relationships
The provider is responsible for its direct service agreement with the customer, assignment execution, supervision, incident handling, invoicing for the underlying security service, collections, and customer-service obligations. SecurityMatch is not the employer of provider personnel.
7. Verification
SecurityMatch may request documentation and may approve, reject, suspend, expire, or remove verification indicators. Verification does not shift compliance responsibility from the provider to SecurityMatch.
8. Sponsored placement and plans
Paid plans may include visibility, sponsored placement, analytics, or other marketplace features. Sponsored placement is separate from organic match scoring. Paying for a plan does not guarantee leads, quotes, contracts, customer selection, or verification approval.
9. Suspension and removal
SecurityMatch may suspend or remove providers for suspected fraud, expired or invalid credentials, customer-safety concerns, repeated nonresponse, abusive conduct, chargebacks, policy violations, regulatory concerns, or other activity that could harm users or the marketplace.
10. Agreement to platform terms
These Provider Terms supplement the SecurityMatch Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Billing Policy, and Verification Policy. If a provider-specific term conflicts with a general term regarding provider marketplace participation, these Provider Terms control to the extent of that conflict.
